Why do clouds doesn't fall down ?

Hello Science enthusiasts, today I am going to explain you about something which we see in our daily life. Actually, some of the readers also got an idea. Yes, I am going to explain about the clouds present in the earth’s atmosphere.

Many of the people in this world see the clouds in the earth’s atmosphere. Generally, these are the gaseous state of water. With the advent of aviation in the early 20th century, these are classified into ten main types, according to height and appearance.

High-altitude were wispy and thin, and compose of tiny ice crystals, with their bases 5-12 km (16,000-39,000 ft.) above ground. The types in high-altitudes are cirrostratus, cirrus, and cirrocumulus. A sheet or lump like, mid-level clouds, at 2-5 km (7,000-16,000 ft.), presage rain or snow.

The types in Mid-levels are an airplane contrail, altostratus, cumulonimbus, and altocumulus. Low-lying are below 2 km (7,000 ft.), are heap-like, or form sheets. The types of low-lying clouds are stratocumulus, cumulus, nimbostratus and stratus. Clouds bases can, however, be affected by location, season, or time of day.

OK coming to the topic, we see the clouds, did you ever think why the clouds itself doesn’t fall on the earth instead of in the form of rain. Don’t worry, I am here to explain you about the science behind this.

Here's the scientific reason about why clouds don't fall on the earth:

We all know that the clouds are lighter than air. If any object is floating in the air, it doesn’t only depend on the weight of that body. Scientifically the weight is the product of Mass and Acceleration due to gravity. The floating objects in the air depend on the density of the object. But here these density is less than the air.

When the water level in them are more, then it tries to come down. In this process they are delivered to low-temperature places, then it converts into water molecules and falls down as rain. When its density is decreased then it remains in its own position.

Thus, the reason they don't fall on our earth.
