These are formed in some animals which live in water which belongs to the “Mollusk” category of animals. For example “Pinctada Vulgaris” will make the pearls. As these Pinctada belongs to the Mollusca phylum. These organisms have the soft body. The organisms which have the soft body will have strong Armor to protect their body.

The strong armor of these animals divided into two pans. These we called as the oyster shells. The body will present inside the both shells. If any sand particle or any larva falls in the part of the body when it is opened, then the both shells were immediately closed and the “Nikriyas” layer is formed in the shell.
This layer looks effective to watch. When a particle falls in this oyster shell (For example the small sand particle), then this “Nikriyas” layer will continuously be coated to that particle. Such the particle which falls in the shells become as the Pearl after some time.In our olden days, these are was formed in a natural way.

Know the farmers are preparing the pearls in an artificial manner.  It means they are farming the mollusk organisms which produce the pearls. There is also some other duplicate pearls which sell for low cost. Mostly these are prepared artificially by the imitation of various color dies. This type of sales leads to the cheating of the customers.
